Join a knowledgeable tour guide who will walk you through the Cayman Crystal Caves on a 1.5-hour group tour. Share the geological significance of Cayman’s oldest landmark.
Situated in a lush tropical forest, the Cayman Crystal Caves are one of the island’s newest natural tourist attractions. Your guide will take you on a 45 minute walk through three different caves. Venture through the open-ceiling cave, the roots cave, and the lake cave. Here you’ll see the stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and otherworldly formations made by single drops of water and the slow passage of time.
After exploring the caves, take a 30-minute nature walk through the unique tropical forest under which the caves formed. Among the forest are captivating tropical plants and animal life including strangler balsam trees, air plants, parrots, and bats.
There will be 15 minutes of free time to explore the viewing deck where there is also a snack and gift shop.
Additional Info:
Appropriate footwear is recommended for your safety
Visitors to the caves must be adequately mobile (there is a fair amount of walking and stairs on the tour)
